Job summary

Quest Plus Conference Center Clark is seeking a Duty Engineer to lead engineering operations and ensure safe, efficient facility performance. You will supervise Shift Engineers, manage 24/7 support, and respond to guest-related and facility needs while maintaining compliance and records.

The role requires a Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics background with 3–5 years in a hotel or facilities environment, plus supervisory experience. Shift work, holidays, and emergencies are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years engineering experience in hotels, resorts, or facilities management.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, generators and maintenance.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating contractors, and maintenance planning.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department and supervise Shift Engineers.
• Ensure 24/7 engineering support to maintain uninterrupted hotel operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and functions as needed.
• Act as Engineer-in-Charge during shifts and cover for the Assistant Chief Engineer when absent.
• Lead planning, coordination with contractors, and project oversight.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and documentation across plant rooms and equipment.
• Monitor performance metrics and pursue continuous improvement.
