Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking an experienced data scientist to develop and deliver analytics-enabled solutions that address defined business needs across the customer lifecycle. You will own end-to-end analytics projects of moderate complexity and work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to generate actionable insights from large, complex datasets.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with Python/SQL, strong ML/AI knowledge, and advanced analytics tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics experience with programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Plotly, R Shiny) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and AI algorithms.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver analytics-enabled solutions to improve business processes and strategy.
• Own end-to-end analytics projects of moderate complexity and contribute to larger initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior data scientists.
