Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to drive the full analytics lifecycle and empower data-driven decisions at scale. You will partner with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, build robust reporting, and solve strategic problems through rigorous analysis.

You will lead data collection, modeling, visualization, ad hoc analyses, and KPI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring, while defining success metrics and KPIs to guide business strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data science or data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in data collection, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with ad hoc analyses and research.
• Experience building real-time KPI dashboards.
• Ability to define success metrics and KPIs.
• Strong track record solving complex strategic problems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full analytics lifecycle: requirement gathering, data collection, data modeling, visualization, analysis, and actionable insights.
• Identify issues, form hypotheses, and run deep-dive analyses to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations for internal partners.
• Enable the organization to stay highly data-driven as it scales by delivering ad hoc analyses, conducting research, and building reports and KPI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand analytical needs, including defining critical success metrics and KPIs, and provide actionable insights that support business strategy.
• Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems into clear analytical approaches.
• Monitor key performance metrics and determine root causes of metric changes.
