Job summary

PSA Corporation Limited is seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer who specialises in Backup, Recovery, Enterprise Storage and Data Resilience to join our team in the Philippines.

You will lead the management and modernization of enterprise backup and storage platforms that support PSA’s mission-critical digital operations, strengthening data resilience, cyber recovery, disaster recovery readiness and overall operational reliability across our technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience with backup, storage, virtualization, and DR concepts.
• Experience leading incidents and coordinating high-severity recovery efforts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across infra, security, and product teams.
• Willingness to provide 24x7 support and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise backup and recovery operations across databases, VMs, physical servers, and critical business apps.
• Manage backup platforms such as Commvault Backup & Recovery and ZDLRA, including Oracle protection with RMAN.
• Drive restoration, DR, cyber recovery, and ransomware recovery activities to strengthen data resilience.
• Manage enterprise storage infrastructure: provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, replication, lifecycle management.
• Design backup retention, archival, replication and recovery strategies aligned to business continuity requirements.
• Support recovery validation, DR drills, audit, compliance and governance activities.
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement preventive actions.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infra and product teams to ensure secure, reliable operations.
• Identify opportunities to automate, modernise and improve infrastructure operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure architecture planning and technology roadmaps.
