Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Lead Automation Tester to spearhead Playwright-based test automation across web platforms. You will design scalable frameworks, guide QA strategies, and mentor the automation team to deliver high-quality software through continuous testing.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software testing, with 4+ years in automation, and strong leadership in QA initiatives, agile methodologies, and collaboration with developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software testing experience, with at least 4+ years focused on automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience building automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Extensive knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
• Experience leading QA teams or as a technical lead on automation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities
