Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an FCC Operations Lead to oversee daily operations including transaction monitoring, screening, AML investigations and reporting. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards while guiding a team and coordinating with external service providers.

You will drive policy development, training, and remediation efforts, while ensuring timely escalation and governance across the FCC function within a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with AML compliance experience in banking.
• Knowledgeable about AML, CFT and sanctions rules, regulations and industry best practice.
• Knowledgeable about banking operations, products and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FCC Operations: transaction monitoring, screening, and name screening alerts management, AML investigations, covered transaction reporting and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Governance and oversight of outsourced FCC Operations to ensure SLAs are met and outsourcing complies with Maybank Group requirements.
• Supervise FCC Operations team members: productivity, attendance, training needs, performance reviews and coaching.
• Escalate gaps, breaches or issues in FCC Operations to the FCC Unit Head; assist root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures including voluntary regulator disclosures if applicable.
• Develop remediation plans addressing internal/external findings and ensure timely remediation within FCC Operations.
• Develop/update policies, procedures and operations manuals to stay compliant with rules and regulations.
• Implement process and systems improvements to meet productivity and quality targets and regulatory reporting standards.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on FCC Operations topics.
• Participate in Group FCC and Group Compliance initiatives involving FCC Operations.
• Complete any other tasks related to FCC function as assigned.
