Job summary

SciSpace in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to lead AI product development for its research-focused platform. You will own the SciSpace Agent from strategy through launch, collaborating with engineering, NLP, design, growth, and data teams to deliver AI-first experiences.

The role requires hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic AI systems, and prompt engineering, with a track record of delivering measurable product outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development, technical product management, technical leadership, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and modern AI architectures.
• Practical knowledge of agentic AI systems and AI orchestration.
• Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and AI evaluation techniques.
• Experience taking products from concept and wireframes through MVP and final release.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent LLM agent frameworks.
• Ability to define and optimize AI product metrics such as accuracy, completion rate, latency, and user trust.
• Experience working with software engineering teams on product requirements and priorities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and product decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership and willingness to work hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Own AI product strategy: define vision, roadmap, and strategy for the SciSpace Agent.
• Build agentic AI products: develop a modular and extensible agent platform for multiple research domains and user segments.
• Lead cross-functional execution: partner with engineering, NLP, design, growth, and data teams to deliver AI-first experiences.
• Drive prompt engineering: develop, test, and improve prompts for LLM-based and agentic systems.
• Build AI evaluations: create evaluation processes to measure agent quality, reliability, and performance.
• Translate user problems into clear product requirements and intelligent behaviors.
• Improve AI experiences: use user feedback, experiments, and learning loops to refine the product.
• Partner with engineers: help shape technical architecture, product priorities, designs, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with designers: convert product requirements into actionable prototypes and user experiences.
• Define execution plans: break product requirements into clear, executable engineering tasks.
• Measure product performance: optimize metrics such as accuracy, completion rate, latency, and user trust.
• Drive innovation: combine analytical thinking, business judgment, and product strategy to create high-quality AI experiences.
• Take ownership: identify problems proactively and move projects forward without waiting for instructions.
• Improve communication: keep engineering, design, data, and other teams aligned throughout product development.
