The role includes supervising Accounting Assistants, reviewing ledgers, preparing month-end reports, bank reconciliations, and assisting with audits to uphold internal controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree and professional certification
• CPA preferred; CMA or CIA a plus
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures

Responsibilities

• Reviews accounting data to ensure proper reporting per GAAP
• Monitors and adjusts General Ledger accounts with abnormal balances
• Prepares month-end closing entries and supporting schedules
• Supervises Accounting Assistants and ensures procedures are followed
• Prepares bank reconciliations and tax paperwork
• Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
• Ensures timely filing of government taxes and regulatory filings
