Job summary

Astoria Hotels and Resorts seeks an experienced HVAC System Operations lead in Metro Manila to oversee maintenance, repairs, and energy optimization across hotel properties. Qualifications

• Education: RAC diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Certification: TESDA RAC Servicing NC II/III preferred or licensed ME for hotel work.
• Experience: 3–5 years in HVAC-R maintenance, 1–2 years in lead roles.
• Technical: Deep knowledge of central chillers, BMS, VRF/VRV, electrical diagrams, and refrigerant safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC-R systems.
• Supervise daily work orders and mentor junior technicians and contractors.
• Monitor energy usage and coordinate with BMS to optimize temperatures and schedules.
• Maintain inventory of parts and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Able to work rotating shifts and emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
