Job summary

Aguila Glass in the Philippines is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to perform routine and complex tests in accordance with prescribed standards. You will handle, calibrate, and maintain standard laboratory instruments and ensure quality records are up to date.

The role requires an engineering graduate with at least 3 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests
• Handle, calibrate, and maintain standard laboratory instruments and tools
• Ensure that all tests performed are in accordance with prescribed standards
• Prepare and seek approval of test results
• Release test results on time
• Initiate actions to prevent or minimize non-conformance in the implementation of laboratory policies and procedures
• Ensure that tools and equipment are in good condition, properly stored and handled
• Maintain and assure all test equipment and measuring devices are properly calibrated and maintained
• Acts as Approved Signatory to PAB Accredited Tests
• Maintain all Quality Records and Documents of the Laboratory
