Job summary

First Philippine Industrial Park, Inc. (FPIP) invites applications for a Laboratory Analyst to perform laboratory analyses of water and wastewater using DENR-recognized methods and to support compliance efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or license in chemistry.
  • Driver’s license is a plus.
  • 2 yrs relevant laboratory experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiar with Google & MS Office; proficient in spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Represents the company in all laboratory-related activities, initiatives, and programs as Laboratory Analyst.
  • Conducts physical and chemical analyses of water and wastewater samples using validated, DENR-recognized methods.
  • Assist QA Commercial Lead in maintaining compliance requirements of the laboratory.
  • Represents the company in all legal and statutory requirements for the operation of the laboratory.
  • Ensures compliance to all business, statutory and environmental laws, rules, and regulations as applicable.
  • Assists / facilitates Locators’ compliance with all environmental laws, policies and guidelines stipulated under FPIP’s Deed of Restrictions, Park Rules, and Regulations as well as issuances, circulars and guidelines issued by FUI.
  • Conduct Locator’s visit (as necessary) for verification of processes affecting effluent quality and/or to witness sampling protocol by laboratory staff.
  • Conduct site inspection (as necessary) to validate Locator’s compliance on effluent regulation and/or permit condition stipulated on the certificate of sewer interconnection (CSI).
  • Achieves customer service delight in every opportunity of interaction with guests, Locators, prospects, communities, and suppliers, service providers / contractors.
  • Prepares ROLA as needed within the required timeframe.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by superiors related to internal processes and/or company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, License in Chemistry
  • With Driver’s License (can drive 4 wheeled vehicle) is a plus
  • Number of Relevant Experience Required: (2 yrs) Familiar with laboratory operations.
  • Experience in working in the laboratory or fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiar with and user of Google & MS Office; experienced to expert on spreadsheets.
