Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Customer Sensing Analyze customer pain points and gains, market and industry data and form useful insights related to opportunities and needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities based on reading of market trends and analysis of internal and external research. Helps refine the business concept by identifying opportunities and gaps based on market research and client/locator data. Collaborates with the Market Research Team in preparing Research Briefs and conduct of the actual research. Networks with key external contacts/experts and locators (if needed) for leads for properties and possible service opportunities. Participates in networking activities relevant to projects being handles and driven by FPIP management, for information gathering and external relationship building.
- Business Development Proposes possible solutions in the form of new products or services to address the needs and pain points of current and future customers. Develops the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for selected and prioritized projects, together with the team. With inputs from various data sources, including major assumptions from management, develops the financial model of the project, and presents internally, within the BD team for screening and approval prior to release to stakeholders. Coordinates with Finance for any internal policies (e.g. loan interest) that should be factored into the model. Performs different types of analysis, quantitative or qualitative, to arrive at an appropriate technical and commercial recommendation. With supervision from BD Officers/Manager, analyzes project risks and determines legal and regulatory requirements of the project as well as organizational and marketing requirements. Together with the Head or BD Officers/Managers, prepares and delivers presentations of studies for approval. Provides inputs on the design of the business and operational process for new business units. For existing businesses/products/services, analyzes operations and identifies opportunities for optimization, efficiency and new products that may lead to savings and increased revenue.
- Project Management With directions from the Head or BD Officers and Manager, executes approved projects together with internal (Support and other BUs) and external partners/stakeholders (LGUs or partner companies) using end-to-end project management (including administration duties) or an Agile approach. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and observes mitigation measures for identified risks while implementing the project. Together with the team, conducts lessons learned sessions, reviews internal processes, and develops action plans for improvement.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Administration, or combined Business Administration and Accounting (BSBAA), Economics, or Finance and Accounting
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of minimum experience in similar capacity
- Licensure and/or Certification Required: N/A but Licensed Accountant is preferred
- Must have working experience in product or new business development
- Must have working knowledge and experience in designing and conducting market research
- Must have working knowledge and skill in financial modeling
- Must have working knowledge in project management
