Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. is seeking Lab Support Assistants to support day-to-day cleaning and general operational needs of a biotechnology laboratory.

This hands-on role focuses on laboratory cleaning and housekeeping, with basic duties such as equipment preparation, labeling, and handling of non-hazardous samples when needed. No specialised science or laboratory qualification is required, and training will be provided.

• Clean and maintain laboratory work areas, benches and equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards within the laboratory.
• Prepare and arrange basic equipment and materials for laboratory activities.
• Assist with basic labelling and recording duties when required.
• Assist with simple handling and movement of non-hazardous samples when required.
• Ensure assigned areas and equipment are clean and ready for laboratory operations.
• Follow established cleaning, hygiene, safety procedures and work instructions.
• Perform other general laboratory support duties as assigned.

Job Overview

We are looking for Lab Support Assistants to support the day-to-day cleaning and general operational needs of a biotechnology laboratory.

This is a hands-on support role, primarily covering laboratory cleaning and housekeeping, with some basic operational duties such as equipment preparation, labelling, recording and handling of non-hazardous samples when required.

No specialised science or laboratory qualification is required.

• Clean and maintain laboratory work areas, benches and equipment

• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards within the laboratory

• Prepare and arrange basic equipment and materials for laboratory activities

• Assist with basic labelling and recording duties when required

• Assist with simple handling and movement of non-hazardous samples when required

• Ensure assigned areas and equipment are clean and ready for laboratory operations

• Follow established cleaning, hygiene, safety procedures and work instructions

• Perform other general laboratory support duties as assigned

Requirements

• No prior laboratory experience required; training will be provided

• Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, healthcare, production, manufacturing or general support work will be advantageous

• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment

• Able to understand and communicate in English to coordinate with laboratory personnel

• Able to follow instructions and established procedures carefully

• Responsible, reliable and attentive to cleanliness

• Comfortable with hands-on cleaning and general support duties
