Job summary

SGS Philippines seeks a Laboratory Data Analyst to join the Global Business Solutions center. You will process data for Food matrix samples, validate results, and ensure reporting meets ISO17025 and SGS standards.

The role requires a Chemistry degree with chromatography experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, collaborative mindset to meet tight deadlines while maintaining data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree, Chemistry strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with chromatography instruments (LC/GC); MS knowledge preferred.
• Lab testing experience with Food matrix preferred; Environmental samples an advantage.
• Chromalion, MassHunter, MultiQuant, Analyst software knowledge is a plus.
• Commitment to data quality and operational excellence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify minor discrepancies.
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs data processing functions, including lab data calculations and integrations.
• Validates, calculates and reports lab results to quality and ISO17025 standards.
• Ensures deadlines are met and notifies supervisor if turnaround times cannot be met.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of operational issues and quality concerns.
• Maintains quality control procedures and data integrity; participates in training as needed.
