Job summary

HGS Offshore Staffing Solutions is seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide L2 technical support across defined Flexischools product domains. You will work closely with Engineering and Product squads responsible for those domains, investigating production issues, resolving application and data problems, and helping ensure recurring support issues are understood and addressed at their source.

Qualifications

Strong SQL skills and ability to investigate data issues.
Structured, evidence-based troubleshooting approach.
Experience with APIs and production logs.
Ability to work across product domains with engineers and product managers.
Experience managing support queues and prioritization.
Willingness to create runbooks and documentation for known issues.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve L2 application support issues across assigned product domains.
Diagnose issues using SQL, data, APIs, logs, and monitoring tools.
Escalate defects needing code or infrastructure changes with evidence.
Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers and engineers.
Maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides for known issues.
Review the support desk and own tickets for assigned domains.
