Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a dedicated KYC Agent in Quezon City to join our onboarding team. This contract role focuses on identity verification, compliance checks, and regulatory adherence to minimize risk.

You will perform due diligence, collect and review documents, maintain accurate records, and engage with customers by phone, email, or chat while meeting daily verification targets in a fast-paced, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in compliance or customer service are advantageous.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within a call centre or contact centre environment.
• Strong knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify information and identify discrepancies.
• Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough customer verification and identity checks in accordance with KYC compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collect, review and validate customer documentation and personal information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform background checks and due diligence on customer accounts whilst maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or chat to request additional information and clarify documentation as needed.
• Document all interactions and maintain detailed records of verification processes and findings.
• Identify and elevate suspicious activities, discrepancies or high-risk accounts to appropriate departments and compliance teams.
• Respond professionally to customer queries regarding the verification process and provide assistance throughout onboarding.
• Stay updated on compliance regulations, company policies, and KYC procedures to ensure consistent and accurate application.
• Meet daily and monthly targets for processing customer applications and verification requests.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve issues and improve customer service delivery.
