Qualifications

• Open-source mindset with focus on modern infrastructure and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of telco landscape and its operating context.
• Kubernetes on-premises and upstream environments with lifecycle tuning.
• Expert Linux administration for distributed, highly available systems.
• Service mesh experience (Istio/Linkerd) and multi-cluster architectures.
• Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform/Ansible/Helm.
• Security-first approach in platform design and compliance awareness.
• Observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Otel, Jaeger.
• Active contribution to open-source ecosystems and CNCF/OCI standards.
• Strong GitOps practice with ArgoCD, Git, CI/CD, Flux.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security, reliability, and availability of critical systems infrastructure.
• Design and evolve platform architecture for scalable, observable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Deliver highly available, scalable platforms and services to support growth.
• Build and automate on-premises containerised workloads with IaC and CI/CD.
• Support development teams with platform capabilities and environments.
• Champion reliability practices, monitoring, incident response, post-incident reviews.
• Continuously improve platform performance and developer experience.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow team capability.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end and participate in on-call rotations.
