Job summary

The Habit Food Group in Makati is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a commercial kitchen team, ensuring high efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will mentor cooks, optimize inventory and workflows, assist R&D for new brands and dishes, and prepare profitability and inventory reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a kitchen or restaurant, including leading and coaching.
• Graduate of HRM or related course.
• Excellent communication in English and Tagalog.
• Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
• Understanding of ingredients, culinary equipment, and cooking procedures.
• Knowledge of best practices for operating a commercial kitchen.
• Amenable to work in Makati.

• Training, mentoring, and motivating members of the team - culture of people development and promotion from within.
• Help implement and optimize operational processes such as inventory, station assignments, and workflows.
• Assisting R&D for new brands and dishes (tasting, sourcing ingredients, brainstorming, experimenting).
• Preparing reports on profitability, inventory, sales, etc.

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience managing a kitchen or a restaurant - including leading and coaching people.
• Graduate of an HRM or any related course.
• Excellent communication skills (English and Tagalog).
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
• Understanding of various ingredients, culinary equipment, and cooking procedures.
• Knowledge of best practices for operating in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Amenable to work in Makati.

Nice-to-haves:

• Exposure to a few different cuisines in a professional setting is ideal, but not necessary.
• Having produced and released your own dish on a commercial menu is a huge plus.
