Job summary

Our Clients in the Philippines seeks a Senior Kafka Cluster Administrator to deploy and operate production Kafka clusters, manage ecosystem tools, and drive infrastructure automation. The role collaborates with engineering teams to onboard producers and consumers, contributing to event-driven architectures.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on Kafka experience, a degree in IT or CS, and a preference for Confluent Kafka certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years hands-on professional experience administering Apache Kafka in production.
• CCAAK certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate Kafka production clusters.
• Manage Kafka ecosystem tools: Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, MirrorMaker 2.
• Automate provisioning and deployments with Terraform/Ansible.
• Ensure performance, monitoring, and security compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for onboarding producers and consumers.
