Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Servicing, Automotive Technology, or related course; TESDA certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience as Auto Mechanic/Automotive Technician.
• Knowledge of tire, wheel, brake, suspension, and basic mechanical servicing.
• Able to use common automotive tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and identify tire, wheel, brake, suspension, and other mechanical concerns.
• Perform tire mounting, demounting, rotation, balancing, tire repair, and tire pressure checks.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and replacement of automotive parts as assigned.
• Properly diagnose and verify vehicle concerns before recommending or replacing parts.
• Conduct a final inspection and necessary re-check after completing repairs or replacements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures.
• Report service findings to the Service Coordinator and coordinate further work.

About the role

Responsible for performing vehicle inspection, tire and wheel services, basic mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance while ensuring that all work is performed properly, safely, and according to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and identify tire, wheel, brake, suspension, steering, and other mechanical concerns.
• Perform tire mounting, demounting, rotation, balancing, tire repair, and tire pressure checks.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and replacement of automotive parts as assigned.
• Properly diagnose and verify vehicle concerns before recommending or replacing parts.
• Conduct a final inspection and necessary re-check after completing repairs or replacements.
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and service-area facilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures.
• Report service findings, additional repair requirements, and any unresolved concerns to the Service Coordinator.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of Automotive Servicing, Automotive Technology, or related course; TESDA certification is an advantage.
• With relevant of at least 2 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic/Automotive Technician.
• Knowledge of tire, wheel, brake, suspension, and basic mechanical servicing.
• Able to use common automotive tools and equipment.
• Able to perform hands-on automotive work.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a service team.
