Job summary

LausGroup in the Philippines seeks an automotive technician to support the service department by performing repairs and regular maintenance per repair orders, ensuring quality work consistent with LausGroup standards.

The candidate should hold a BS in Industrial Technology (Automotive) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience, a TESDA NC II certificate, and a valid non-professional driver’s license. Training for advanced repairs is provided.

Qualifications

Graduate of BS Industrial Technology major in Automotive.
With at least 2 years’ experience as Automotive Technician
With TESDA NC II Certificate.
Possesses a valid non-professional driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform basic care and maintenance such as 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 20,000-kilometer checkups and subsequent regular checkups, all to maintain the units in good operating condition.
Identifies mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment.
Tests and lubricates the vehicle’s engine and other major components.
Follows checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
Tests parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly. Performs overhauling repair jobs such as, but not limited to, the following: Engine System, Manual Transmission System, Automatic Transmission System, Power Train System, Chassis / Suspension, Electrical System, Aircon System
Recommends additional services that will help improve the condition of the vehicle unit under service and to meet the targeted labor sold hours.
