Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is hiring a Junior Security Analyst to monitor SIEM dashboards, triage alerts, and support incident response. You will collaborate with network, cloud, and application teams to investigate security events and maintain documentation.

We're seeking candidates with a solid understanding of cybersecurity basics, TCP/IP, and experience in Windows/Linux. This role offers 40 hours per week and EST schedule, with on-site work in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, CE or related field.
• 0–2 years of cybersecurity/IT security experience.
• Basic cybersecurity principles and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Knowledge of SIEM concepts and security monitoring.
• Understanding of common threats and attack vectors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM dashboards and security monitoring tools for threats.
• Perform initial alert triage and escalate incidents per procedures.
• Analyze security events from firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoints, and more.
• Assist vulnerability scanning and remediation validation.
• Document findings and maintain incident records.
• Support security reporting, dashboards, and compliance docs.
• Coordinate with infra, network, cloud, and app teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to routine security health checks and access reviews.
