Job summary

Workforce Optimizer Products in Manila is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to deliver high-quality product testing and support. The role emphasizes strong communication, up-to-date domain knowledge, and adherence to service levels.

You will perform manual testing on enterprise web apps, gain automation experience with Selenium and related tools, and work in a hybrid setup with a morning shift and provided equipment to support your duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM.
• 2-3 years of testing large enterprise web applications with manual testing.
• Hands-on automation using Selenium or similar tools.
• Experience testing JAVA/J2EE web environments.
• Strong knowledge of Internet/Web technologies.
• Good Windows and SQL database skills.
• Experience API-level test cases is desirable.
• Exposure to full product development life-cycle is desirable.
• Familiarity with Cypress, K6, Appium and Robot Framework is desirable.
• Hybrid work setup and morning shift.

Job description

The Junior Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to deliver high quality product testing and comprehensive support Workforce Optimizer Products. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills. JIRA case notes must be kept up to date and accurately recorded: a defined problem statement, troubleshooting efforts, results and next steps with time-frames to be taken, along with actual time worked.

He or she is expected to utilize outstanding customer service skills and techniques that promote customer satisfaction and retention. This position requires that technical skills and domain expertise be constantly updated to adhere to service level commitments, customer expectations, and the changing technology landscape.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM

• With atleast 2-3 years experience in testing large and complex enterprise web applications with focus on Manual testing

• Hands-on experience developing automated test suites using Selenium or similar tools

• Experience testing software products in JAVA / J2EE and Web environment

• Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies

• Good working knowledge of Windows environment and SQL database

• Experience implementing API-level test cases (highly desirable)

• Exposure to full life-cycle commercial product development (highly desirable)

• Exposure with Cypress, K6, Appium, and Robot Framework is highly desirable
