TDH International Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Makati City to ensure new enhancements meet requirements. You will review processes, identify defects, and provide feedback while coordinating with BA and Developers.
The role requires at least 1 year in testing or related fields, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with JIRA. On-site work is required, with opportunities to grow in a payment industry environment.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, one of your primary responsibilities is to determine whether a new enhancement or functionality meets the specified requirements. You will focus on reviewing both processes and procedures, and logistics of using the platform in order to find possible defects and provide meaningful feedback. Being analytical and detail oriented will be
helpful in this situation.
You will also be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Part of your role as well is proper estimation, prioritization and test planning which you will need to coordinate to both the Business Analyst team and Developers.
Handling low complexity tasks and expertise in one or multiple features and processes which include but no limited to the below items:
Start your day by reviewing communication channels and JIRA to check any item which is ready for testing. You may also receive updates or inquiries related to some tickets from Business Analyst team or Developers which will need your attention.
Inline with checking the list of items which are ready for review and testing, you will need to make sure that they are properly tracked on QA tracker which you will need to prioritize and share to BA team and UI/UX team.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities to related departments. With this, the Product team will be able to properly plan the deployment and communicate them accordingly to Tenants.
Perform thorough regression testing whenever bugs, new enhancements, and new features are resolved or added in Dev and Stable environment.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track platform bugs in all environments of the platform.
Engaging in daily stand-up meetings with the Product team, you'll learn about new features, updates, and integrations, deepening your understanding of the tech space.
You'll collaborate with your team members to develop and document the most effective approaches, creating process guides that explain our feature stack best.
By the end of the week, you will be working on case studies that are tailored based on the experiences you have been exposed to during the week so that others can learn from your hard work as well.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in computer science, information technology, or any computed-related field.
A minimum of 1-year experience in programming, system testing, automation or any relevant field (Preferably in a Payment Industry).
