Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end network infrastructure, SOC/NOC operations, and managed services deployments in a fast-paced ICT environment.

The role covers defining scope, budgets, and timelines, while coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful on-time delivery and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in ICT, cybersecurity, or MSP environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field; PMP/PRINCE2/CAPM/Agile a plus.
• ITIL Foundation is a plus.
• Proficiency with PM tools: MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of network infrastructure, SOC/NOC, and managed services deployments.
• Manage application development rollouts—from requirements and UAT through go-live, hypercare, and handover to operations.
• Define scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and resourcing plans, ensuring transparency at every stage.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing workloads and shifting focus as client and business needs change.
• Track progress, dependencies, and change requests; keep project documentation and status reports current.
• Oversee onboarding and transition of new clients into managed network and security services.
• Coordinate with NOC/SOC teams to ensure services meet SLAs and readiness criteria before handover.
• Collaborate with partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues through structured communication and adaptive planning.
• Serve as main contact for clients during project delivery, managing expectations and escalations.
• Bridge technical depth and business accessibility in client engagements and executive updates.
• Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and impact within project teams.

Risk, Stakeholder & Communication

• 3 or more years of project management experience, including network infrastructure, managed services, and application development rollouts in an ICT, cybersecurity, or MSP environment

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum); ITIL Foundation a plus

Computer Literacy

• Advanced use of MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools; MS Office / Google Workspace

AI and Digital Transformation

• Uses AI and automation tools for planning, reporting, and documentation; exposure to digital transformation projects

Skills/Expertise

• Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, wireless, data center), NOC/SOC operations, SDLC and application deployment
