Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. seeks a Product Owner/Business Analyst to define and prioritize the product backlog, aligning features with business objectives and customer needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across product, design, and engineering to deliver value iteratively. You will translate requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria, participate in Agile ceremonies, and track progress through sprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
• Basic understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, or business requirements documentation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining, managing, and prioritizing the product backlog based on objectives and customer needs.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, UX/UI designers, and Business Analysts throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the Product Owner in aligning features with goals, customer expectations, and technical feasibility.
• Monitor progress, track sprint deliverables, and communicate updates, risks, and dependencies.
• Assist in validating features via UAT and ensure acceptance criteria are met before release.
• Help identify opportunities for enhancements by gathering user feedback and analyzing product performance.
• Maintain product documentation including user stories, roadmaps, release notes, and specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process improvements and contributing to Agile best practices.
