You will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL, contributing to efficient solutions that support our business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle concepts and PL/SQL programming.
• Proficiency in writing and optimising SQL queries.
• Understanding of relational database design and normalisation.
• Good problem-solving skills and teamwork orientation.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn from seniors.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies is a plus.

About the role

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Junior PL SQL Developer to join our growing software development team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will work with experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL. You will contribute to the creation of efficient database solutions that support our business operations and help drive innovation across our technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support application requirements
• Write and optimise SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with senior developers and database architects to design and implement database solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards
• Debug and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database objects and processes
• Support the testing and deployment of database applications into production environments
• Assist with database administration tasks, including backup and recovery procedures
