Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree from a recognised institution.
• Admission to the Philippine Bar.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence rules and commercial law.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in legal documentation and case management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple matters.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development in litigation practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment under supervision.
• Preferred: prior internship or practical experience in litigation or dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on litigation matters and prepare memoranda for supervising attorneys.
• Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence for clients and the court.
• Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including evidence organisation, witness preparation and document management.
• Maintain and organise case files and legal documentation in compliance with office procedures and legal requirements.
• Attend court hearings and client meetings to support senior lawyers and gather relevant case information.
• Assist with the drafting of settlement agreements and other dispute resolution documentation.
• Conduct factual investigations and interview clients and witnesses as required.
• Provide administrative support to the litigation team, including managing deadlines and court filings.
• Keep abreast of developments in litigation law and share updates with the team.
