Job summary

Jobtailor in the Philippines seeks a qualified lawyer to assist in managing disputes, draft agreements, and advise on regulatory issues across fintech and crypto.

You will work with external counsel, help maintain governance, and support privacy compliance while aligning legal strategies with business goals.

The role requires 1–3 years PQE, strong contract and litigation knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in the Philippines.
• 1–3 years PQE in technology, fintech, or corporate matters is preferred.
• Strong foundation in contract and corporate law and litigation procedures.
• Experience with crypto, blockchain, and data privacy laws desirable.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to advise on practical risk-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing pre-litigation disputes and formal litigation matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel, manage discovery, notices, and budgets.
• Draft memos and conduct research on user disputes, regulatory inquiries, and claims.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, SaaS licenses, and vendor contracts.
• Support licensing and registration efforts globally and corporate governance matters.
• Help maintain the contract management system and privacy policies.
• Provide compliance guidance for new products and marketing initiatives.
