Job summary

SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, is seeking a proactive professional to scope work with clients, prepare quotes for compendial testing, and coordinate among chemistry and microbiology teams to deliver high-quality services in a timely manner.

The role requires a scientific degree, 1+ year customer service experience, and familiarity with Salesforce/PandaDoc. Hybrid work setup after an initial onsite period is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline.
• 1+ year customer service experience is required.
• 2+ years Pharma lab testing and cGMP experience is required.
• Ability to read/interpret technical documents and RFPs in pharmaceutical testing.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with quoting/proposal tools (Salesforce, PandaDoc) is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (C1 level).

Responsibilities

• Scope work for proposals and prepare quotes for USP, EP, and JP compendial testing.
• Keep client and quote information up to date in CRM/PandaDoc platforms.
• Act as liaison between clients and Microbiology/ Chemistry departments to ensure on-time, high-quality service.
• Provide information and follow-up to clients as needed; coordinate technical support as required.
• Develop proposals matching client inquiries, ensuring quote review/approval processes are followed.
