Job summary

Brand Soluxions is seeking a Junior Formulator to develop and refine formulations for soaps and hygiene products. The role involves researching raw materials, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with production and QA to scale formulations from lab to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/engineering background with hands-on formulation experience and strong analytical and project management skills, contributing to a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in product formulation, ideally within the soap, detergent, or personal care sectors.
• In-depth understanding of raw materials, their chemical characteristics, and formulation methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance formulations for soaps and other hygiene-related products.
• Perform research and testing on raw materials to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to transition formulations from laboratory scale to full-scale manufacturing.
• Identify and resolve formulation challenges by providing effective technical solutions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory developments in the personal care and hygiene industry.
