Job summary

Dermorepubliq Corporation invites a Research Assistant/Research Chemist to work under the Chief Science Officer, executing chemistry research, formulation trials, analytical method development, and technical documentation for the cosmetic and product-innovation pipeline.

The role blends bench science with product development, delivering rigorous, evidence-based outputs for internal decisions and external collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or closely related field.
• Laboratory-based research or formulation experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharma, or chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with GLP and standard lab safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments, formulation trials, and studies per CSO directions.
• Develop and test prototype cosmetic formulations and iterate using evaluation data.
• Perform physico-chemical analyses (pH, viscosity, particle size, stability) per SOPs.
• Develop, validate, and document analytical methods for cosmetic ingredients and finished products.
• Coordinate stability testing and data interpretation for product claims and regulatory submissions.
