Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or at least Vocational/Trade course in Electrical Technology.
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in building operation and maintenance.
• National Certificate II (NC II) for Electrical Installation and Maintenance is required; Registered Master Electrician/Registered Electrical Engineer is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Performs operation, maintenance, and repair of medium and low voltage distribution systems, panel boards, switchgears, power transformers, capacitor banks, generator, electric motors, and other electrical equipment and devices.
• Develops cooperation and coordination among co-workers.
• Carries out instructions from management/supervisor, plans/programs and assigned tasks.
• Recommends action and requests for procurement of supplies/materials and for repair and upgrading of equipment.
• Assists in the preparation of work plans and schedules for team daily work and activities. Emergency, safety, and healthful environment.
• Prepares reports and keeps operation and maintenance records.
• Assists in preparing project scope of works, bills of materials, cost estimate, requisition for the needed services and materials, and in the conduct of inventory of supplies, parts, and materials.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Electrical Technician is responsible in providing assistance to the Senior Electrician and Electrical Technicians in the performance of their duties and responsibilities which includes the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of medium and low voltage installation and devices, power and distribution transformers, panel boards, switchgears, capacitor banks, generators, electric motors, programmable logic controls, power breakers, load break switches, variable frequency drives, soft starter, and other electrical equipment and devices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
