Job summary
A construction company is seeking a maintenance technician for electrical systems. Responsibilities include performing repairs, troubleshooting and responding to maintenance needs. Candidates should have a 2-year vocational background in Electricity or Electronics, and preferably an NC II Certificate. This full-time position requires 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and the willingness to relocate if necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in maintenance of electrical systems.
- Knowledgeable in Motor Control (direct online, wye-delta starter).
- Can read Electrical and Electronics Plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments as necessary.
- Respond to maintenance requirements promptly.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
- Performs minor repairs and adjustments
- Promptly respond to maintenance requirements including minor unit and area maintenance
- Conduct minor repairs to static equipment as required – breakers, control units, PLC, lighting, convenience outlets, etc.
- Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot various electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems for correct operation; prepare corresponding reports for any abnormality found in cost estimates for work.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a 2-year vocational course with background on Electricity, Electronics.
- Preferably with NC II Certificate (Building Wiring).
