Job summary

Devopsroles in Makati, Philippines is seeking a junior IT support professional to join our operations team. The role focuses on Level 1 helpdesk, basic server and network tasks, and contributing to CI/CD workflows with Jenkins.

You will work with our engineers to keep systems reliable, document configurations, and support deployment and backup processes while developing your scripting and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to perform both helpdesk support and infrastructure tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 helpdesk support for system access, connectivity, and basic technical issues.
• Monitor servers, applications, and system performance.
• Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Help maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Assist with deployment processes, system updates, and backups.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve automation and operational efficiency.
