D&V Philippines is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to support Australian clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and statutory obligations using Xero and Dext. The role requires accuracy, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Office is Makati with initial onsite presence and monthly onsite thereafter, offering opportunities for growth, training, and exposure to international clients.

Formación

• BS Accountancy or related accounting discipline.
• Experience in bookkeeping and cloud accounting tools.
• Proficiency with Xero and Dext preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Daily bookkeeping in cloud system (Xero).
• Process client expense invoices via Dext.
• Post invoices from Dext to Xero.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and prepare month-end schedules.
• Record unreconciled bank transactions to GL.
• Issue client sales invoices per relationship team.
• Process biweekly payroll and maintain employee records.
• Submit STP payroll data to the ATO.
• Manage client debt and send reminders.
• Prepare manual journals in Xero.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals.
• Work with third-party apps like ApprovalMax.
• Handle additional data entry as required.
• Prepare activity statements.
• Draft client correspondence.
• Log daily time in the practice management system.
• Communicate priorities with the client engagement team daily.
• Respond promptly to emails from the client team.
• Monitor time, budget and KPI expectations.
• Manage client portfolio tasks and deadlines.
• Provide queries to the engagement team.
• File client information to internal database.
