Jbros Construction Corporation invites a Junior Architect to support the architectural team with design drawings, plans, and site tasks in a fast-paced project environment. You will assist in site inspections, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and prepare project records using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.
A valid driving license and willingness to travel are required. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is mandatory, with 3–4 years of related experience preferred.
The Junior Architect assists the architectural team in preparing design drawings, plans, technical documents, and site-related activities. The position also supports site inspections, coordination with engineers and contractors, and other architectural tasks.
Assist in preparing architectural plans, drawings, layouts, and other technical documents using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant software
Conduct site visits, measurements, inspections, and documentation to ensure that construction work follows approved plans and specifications
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site personnel regarding architectural requirements and project concerns
Monitor architectural works and assist in identifying and resolving design or construction-related issues
Prepare progress reports, material documentation, site inspection reports, and other project-related records
Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material samples, and other submissions for compliance with project requirements
Perform official site-related errands and travel as required, using 4-wheel vehicles with automatic or manual transmission and motorcycles
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Architect, Project Manager, or Department Head
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field
Preferably 3–4 years of relevant experience in architectural or construction work
Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and site procedures
Good communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Willing to conduct regular site visits and work at project locations
Must know how to drive both automatic and manual 4-wheel vehicles and motorcycles
Must have a valid driver's license with appropriate restrictions/categories for the vehicles to be driven
Willing to travel or perform field assignments as required
Licensed Architect is an advantage.
