Job summary

ZigZag Offshoring in the Philippines is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivables Officer to join the accounting team and support AR duties. The role reports to the Team Lead/Accounting Manager and covers invoicing, collections, and related reconciliations.

You will own AR tasks, monitor due dates, resolve discrepancies, and work with Sales and Finance to optimise cash flow. This is a hands-on position with mentoring from senior staff and opportunities for growth within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Junior role within the accounts team; basic understanding of receivables processes.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts receivable, manage invoices and collect payments by due dates.
• Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies with sales and finance teams.
• Manage debtor and cash flow to minimise bad debt.
• Generate reports and provide data-driven insights on AR performance.
• Establish internal controls and policies for AR processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the finance team.
• Mentor junior staff and assist Accounting Manager in upskilling.
