The Role

The Junior Property Accountant is an execution role. It plays a key part in supporting the delivery of clean, accurate financials for Mogul CPA clients.

You support Senior Accountants by completing assigned accounting tasks related to:

• Recurring monthly accounting
• Structured cleanup and catch-up work

You do not set priorities.

Your responsibility is to execute tasks accurately, update progress clearly, and elevate blockers early.

Responsibilities

1. Recurring Monthly Accounting Support

You will execute recurring accounting tasks assigned by a Senior Accountant, including:

• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• AP processing and coding
• AR support and rent roll tie-outs
• Supporting schedules for month-end close

All work must be completed accurately and on time.

2. Cleanup & Catch-Up Execution

Once the recurring process is defined, you will support cleanup work by:

• Clearing historical balances
• Assisting with backlog reconciliations
• Preparing schedules for unreconciled periods
• Executing cleanup tasks in the correct sequence

You follow the cleanup plan - you do not create it.

3. Communication & Ownership

You are expected to:

• Update task status accurately in Karbon
• Flag blockers early and clearly
• Ask specific, well-thought-out questions
• Follow documented processes exactly

Silence, guessing, or late communication is not acceptable.

• Tasks completed on time and to standard
• Minimal rework required by Seniors
• Clear, proactive communication
• Increasing task complexity over time
• Readiness for Senior consideration within 12-18 months (top performers only)

Requirements

• Excellent Academic record is a MUST
• 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, in a large organization (public company or public accounting firm) is a MUST
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Clear written and spoken English
• Ability to follow instructions precisely
• Stable home setup with reliable internet connection.

Preferred

• Experience with Yardi, QBO and Dext preferred.
• Real estate accounting experience is an asset (not required).
• 50,000 + PHP/month (based on experience)
• Salary reviews every 3-6 months tied to performance and growth
