Job summary

Epiroc Global Business Services Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the Finance team in Nuvali, Sta Rosa Laguna. This role focuses on supporting day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and up to 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing tax returns, audits, and financial statements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial information.
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and invoices.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
