Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced Jumbo Operator to operate and maintain jumbo drilling equipment in underground mining at the Didipio Mine, Philippines. Reporting to the mining supervisor, you will implement advanced drilling techniques and mentor junior operators.

The role requires 5+ years of jumbo operation experience with Sandvik DD 421, safety-focused practices, and strong teamwork. Accommodation, meals, and health benefits are provided on site with travel assistance.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• 5+ years experience in jumbo operation with Sandvik DD 421.
• Knowledge of mining operation and safety protocols.
• Adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving and physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Implements advanced drilling techniques to improve drilling efficiency and accuracy.
• Trains and mentors junior operators, sharing best practices on jumbo operation techniques.
• Safely operate other underground mining equipment.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support themine.

OceanaGold is seeking asuitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Jumbo Operatortooperateand maintain jumbo drilling equipment efficiently and safely in underground mining operations reportingreport to the miningsupervisor.
