The Jr. Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing small to medium-sized projects – as assigned by the PMD Head – from initiation through completion. This role involves supervising project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery, managing stakeholder communications, and supporting project-related administrative functions.
Lead and supervise project teams throughout the full project lifecycle for small to medium projects, including defining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage project documentation, reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Facilitate team collaboration and resolve project-related challenges.
Escalate major issues or changes to PMD Head as needed.
Support continuous improvement by contributing lessons learned and best practices.
Assist in the processing of payment for the project billing and other administrative tasks as required.
Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Basic knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Familiarity with project management software/tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, MS Project).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and support team efforts.
Time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn.
Adaptability and openness to feedback.
Basic understanding of budgeting and resource allocation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, IT, or related field.
At least 2-5 years of project management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
