Job summary

RCBC is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, develop, maintain and enhance application systems and their documentation, translating business requirements into technical specifications with AML regulatory alignment.

You will gather user requirements, design modules, develop interfaces and reports, run tests, supervise data conversions, and provide user support. Collaborate within Agile teams and cloud-based platforms under SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or IT-related field
• At least 4 years experience in ETL
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based platforms

Responsibilities

• Gathers information on user requirements for systems analysis and design
• Designs modules/systems based on requirements and AML regulations
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports; handles backup and archiving
• Codes and compiles programs following SDLC, security and audit standards
• Prepares test data and conducts tests to ensure correct coding
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans
• Develops and maintains system documentation/manuals
• Supervises file conversion
• Provides user support and technical assistance
• Conducts initial training for users and trainors
• Recommends improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the application system

Job Description

• This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of application systems and their related system documentation manuals.

How will you contribute?

• Gathers information on user requirements which will be used for systems analysis and design
• Designs application modules/system based on user requirements and specifications by translating business requirements into technical specifications incorporating AML processes as stipulated in the MLPP compliance laws and regulations
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports specifications, file backup, recovery and archiving procedures
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following the set standards and procedures specified by the systems development life cycle methodology, information security and audit
• Prepares test data and performs various tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans for approval of the immediate supervisor
• Develops and maintains systems documentation / manuals of the application systems
• Supervises file conversion
• Provides support and technical assistance to users of the application
• Conducts initial training to trainors / users of application system
• Recommends improvements to existing procedures in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency when using the application system
