Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering/Science & Technology or equivalent
• Experience in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and processes
• Experience in Java and Spring/SpringBoot
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
• Solid understanding of API/microservice concepts (REST, JSON, XML, message queues)
• Excellent analytical, technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Proven history of continuous learning and process improvement
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and respond promptly

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Work in a system that interacts with other systems through REST APIs
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Conduct unit testing on written code to ensure it performs as designed at the unit level
