Job summary

Quess Philippines Corp. in Metro Manila seeks a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java/Spring Boot and modern JavaScript frameworks.

You will work in an Agile environment, implement RESTful APIs, and contribute to DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines, with emphasis on quality and performance.

Experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, and cloud deployment (Kubernetes/AWS) is highly valued, along with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java SpringBoot 3.0+, Spring Batch.
• Strong design and coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or React.
• Java OOP concepts and pillars of Java; 5 years experience.
• Advanced Java: Collections, IO, JDBC, Threads, Generics.
• Spring/Spring Boot and REST API experience.
• ReactJS: 3+ years of practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle.
• Collaborate with project managers using Agile methodologies to plan and execute development.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks.
• Influence software engineering best practices within the team.
• Develop Java REST API using SpringBoot 3.0+ and Spring Batch.
• Deploy APIs in cloud environments (Kubernetes, AWS, ApiGee, Azure).
• Set up deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
