Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a mid-level software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will build scalable microservices, REST APIs, and front-end interfaces, while integrating frontend with backend systems and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to deploy and operate applications, contributing to SDLC and delivery excellence across projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience in REST API development and integration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend MicroServices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
