The role requires 9+ years of experience, strong Java backend skills, CI/CD, and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), with an emphasis on secure deployment across environments.

Back-end Software Developer - Java/Spring

We're seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge to join Data Centre Migration Project for one of our Banking Customer.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.

Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.

About you

9+ years of overall experience

Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency

Certificate Management Single Sign-On (SSO)

Good understanding of deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers

Good understanding of server connectivity and management

Good understanding of basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation)

Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes

Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
