Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a technical Automation Tester in Java to join our engineering team. You will build, maintain, and scale automated test suites and integrate automated checks into delivery pipelines to ensure our software remains stable and regression-free.

Responsibilities include designing frameworks for web, mobile, and backend APIs; translating manual tests into scalable scripts; integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines; and monitoring test execution to quickly identify and fix failures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Automation QA or SDET roles.
• Proficiency in at least one OO or scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#).
• Experience with modern automation frameworks and tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, PyTest).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of TDD/BDD principles and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and backend APIs.
• Translate manual test cases into scalable automation scripts and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated tests across UI and API/microservices layers; monitor results and debug failures.
• Create and maintain quality dashboards; analyze test flakiness and provide feedback to the team.
