ABOUT THE ROLE

Japanese Language Teacher responsible for providing accurate Japanese-English interpretation during meetings and assisting in translating work-related documents, materials, and communications. The role focuses on promoting understanding of Japanese language and workplace culture through diligent instruction in reading, writing, listening, and conversational Japanese.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

INTERPRETATION AND COMMUNICATION SUPPORT:

• Provide accurate Japanese-English interpretation during occasional meetings.

• Assist in translating work-related documents, materials, and communications as needed.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE TRAINING:

• Promote understanding of Japanese language and workplace culture.

• Diligently teach reading, writing, listening, and conversational Japanese.

• Develop training materials and lesson plans based on learners’ skill levels.

• Monitor the students’ progress and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Willing to be an In-house Japanese Language Trainer in Antipolo City, meals and accommodation is provided.

• At least 2nd year college level or bachelor’s degree in any field.

• JLPT/JFT Certificate – N4 or N3 Passer or Training Certificate of Language Course

• Trainer’s Methodology I (TESDA) Certificate holder

• With at least 2 years work experience as a Japanese Teacher (provide Certificate of Employment)

• Any certificate of the Trainer’s competency to facilitate online language training.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese, English, and Tagalog.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

PREFERRED

• Experience in Japanese language instruction or training.

• Previous experience as a Japanese Interpreter.

• Strong work habits and ethics
