Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Ethics & Compliance advisor to lead governance, risk management and Responsible AI initiatives across Japan and China matters. The role balances hands-on execution with governance leadership within a global operating model.

You will advise business, legal and technology stakeholders, ensuring that regulatory, ethical, and AI risks are identified, mitigated and documented across project lifecycles. 10–15+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent relevant experience for legal/compliance advisory responsibilities.
• Experience across ethics, technology risk, AI governance, or regulatory advisory roles.
• Ability to identify risks and advise stakeholders under ambiguity.
• Strong influence with senior stakeholders and governance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Lead in delivering E&C services and guidance to global stakeholders.
• Be a point of contact for E&C process issues and escalation to leadership.
• Research global regulations related to Ethics & Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal E&C policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver trainings to spread E&C awareness across regions.
• Lead Responsible AI risk assessments and advise on policy-aligned AI adoption.
